The Valleyfield Memorial is dedicated to those from the community who gave their lives in the First and Second World Wars and the Korean War. It was erected by the community. Remembrance Day ceremonies are held at this memorial yearly to honour those who fought and died for justice and liberty. At some point in the past 15 years the original sword of sacrifice has dissapeared, leaving only the outline.
