TO AID THE FAMILIES OF AMERICANS WITH ALLIES

Patriotic Fund To Be Extended to Dependents of Americans Joining Canadians

Toronto, May 19.-- The question of provision for the families of American soldiers with the Canadian expeditionary force, was dealt with by the patriotic fund Thursday.

"There are about 6,000 men in the Canadian Expeditionary Force who have come from the United States, and additional provision will have to be made for the aid for families of American-born soldiers, resident in the United States," said Sir Herbert Ames.
