The riot at Rhyl was second affair of the kind in which Canadian soldiers overseas have been involved since the armistice was signed. But it must be very trying to be all ready to sail and then to have the sailing cancelled.

The trouble among, the Canadians at Rhyl is largely due to the 'cancelling' of sailings. The cancelling of the Olympic, after four years on the Canadian run, needs a more convincing explanation than any yet given. It carried Canadians to the war, and is now carrying Americans home.
