Lance-Corporal Thomas returning to England for a rest

Extract from “Liskeard News”
We are pleased to say that the report that Lance-Corporal Thomas had been invalided to England is not correct, according to latest word from him. He wrote that about the first of October, as soon as the other troops arrived in France, his division was returning to England for a rest. He was in the best of health and spirits.
