Plant - Price marriage

New Liskeard Speaker

Dated: November 27, 1914

Plant-Price

On Thursday, November 19th, 1914, at Rochester, N.Y., Miss Zoe Price, daughter of Mr. Thos. Price, of Toronto, late of New Liskeard, was united in matrimony to Mr. Christopher Plant, of New Liskeard. Mr. Plant came to New Liskeard some 10 years ago, and has made many friends and acquaintances, who all wish him every happiness and prosperity in his married life. The wedding, we believe has been hastened “because of the war.” Chris left with the second contingent for Toronto in early November.

Our sympathies go to the bride who has the courage to stand by one of our brave boys on his way to fight for King and Country. May he return speedily, safe and sound.

Mr. and Mrs. Plant will stay in Toronto until the contingent leaves, where they will be joined on Saturday by Mrs. Lassey, mother of Mr. Plant.
