From Canada's Overseas Contingent

The Speaker is in receipt of “The Western Daily Mercury” of Plymouth, through the courtesy of Lieut. A.N. Morgan, of the 10^th Canadian Infantry, serving with Canada's Overseas Contingent, for which Lieut. Morgan has our sincere thanks. The “Mercury” contains an article of a column and a half descriptive of the arrival of the Canadian contingent of whom it speaks in the most complimentary language. In addition the paper is filled with war news, showing that the people of the Old Land are up in arms in earnest, and have a determination to see this war through to a finish. Should any of our readers desire to see the issue we would be pleased to show it to them on visiting this office.
