Leave on Monday

Temiskaming's representatives for the Second Contingent will leave for Sudbury on Monday next, from which point they will go to Toronto with the remainder of the 97^th Algonquin Rifles, of which Col. McKee will take command, going through with the soldiers to the front. Lieut. Tom Magladery expects that New Liskeard and vicinity will have some thirty-five or forty representatives in the 97^th and he will be at the Magladery store here every afternoon this week to receive applications. Drill will commence in the skating rink on Thursday evening at 8 o'clock, and will continue on Friday and Saturday evening. Every recruit is expected to be present.
