Death of Pte. Walter Lawson Ruddy

Dated: November 30, 1917

Pte. Walter Lawson Ruddy, 209 Westmoreland avenue, was killed in action on October 30. He was an employee of the Robert Simpson Company, who enlisted with a reinforcing draft to the Princess Patricia's. Shortly before his departure he was married to Miss Pearl Hollister of Cornwall. His O.C. described him as a soldier and gentleman.
