Word has been received that Walter Daniels, who was a baker and worked with Wm. Tedstone and also at the condensary, died in hospital in France, apparently from being poisoned by gas. There are no details so far. Jeremiah McDonald, a nephew of Mrs. John Findlay, arrived yesterday from the front, discharged on account of ill health.
Leslie Sellar returned from Texas yesterday and expects, within a fortnight, to be ordered to England, where he will get his commission as lieutenant in the Flying Corps. When he left Texas it was 93 deg. in the shade.
Walter Daniels is Walter Daniel
