Service Biography

John Wilber Louden was born at Covey Hill, Quebec, on 10 March 1895 and was a farmer living in Havelock Township near Franklin Centre. Drafted under the Military Service Act, 1917, he reported at Montreal on 19 July 1918 and served as a Private with the 1st Depot Battalion, 1st Quebec Regiment. His service was entirely in Canada. He was discharged at Montreal on 19 August 1918 following demobilization.

Born 10 March 1895 at Covey Hill, Quebec. At call-up Louden was single, Methodist and employed as a farmer. He lived in Havelock Township near Franklin Centre, Quebec. His mother, Hattie Louden, was his next of kin.
