Miss Margaret Hay was the daughter of Mrs. J. D. Hay and niece of the Lieutenant-Governor. According to the attached report from February 1917, she had been doing V.A.D. work in England since the beginning of the war, but had more recently gone to France as a Nursing Sister. See attached.
