Spitfire R.N.294 was 1 of 7 aircraft that took off 19 April 1945 on an armed reconnisance to the Goldburg/Lubeck area. At 14:15 hours 2 enemy aircraft were sightedwhich led the squadron over a camouflaged airdrone where intense flak was encountered. This was the only aircraft hit, observed burned on ground.
