"Cousin twice removed of William Henry Steeves, a Father of Confederation, representing New Brunswick. I have a photo of her in her Canadian Army Medical Corps nursing uniform which was taken by the well known Photographers, Halksworth Wheeler, located in Sandgate Rd, Folkestone, England. She met my grandfather, John MacCoubrey, while he was convalescing in an English hospital after a gas attack."
