A report in the Vancouver Daily Sun on 07 October 1917, indicated that a party of returned veterans had arrived in Vancouver on the morning of Saturday October 6th. It is noted that a Nursing Sister McCallum of New Westminster was one of two Nursing Sisters accompanying the men from the Atlantic with the party.
