Vancouver Daily Sun, 07 October 1917:
Miss MacLatchy, of Grand Pre, King's County, N.S., was decorated by the King with the Royal Red Cross of the First Class at Buckingham Palace last week. Miss MacLatchy came over in 1915 as Matron of the McGill University hospital unit, and is a member of the Permanent Forces.
