V.A.D. Born at Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Father, S. N. Moffat, Manager The Canadian Bank of Commerce, Paris, Ontario. Educated at Truro Academy, Truro, N.S., and University of Toronto, Trinity College (graduated in Arts, 1915). Entered the service of the Bank, 23rd November, 1917. Enlisted, 27th February, 1918, from Paris branch, for service in First London General Hospital, Camberwell, London, England. Served as a V.A.D. Nurse in Military Hospitals. Demobilized, 1st April, 1919. Returned to duty with the Bank, 20th January, 1920.
